Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] S.R.L. (Romania; Trade Register [TRADE REGISTER NO. — Jxx/xxxx/xxxx]), the operator of PageDiff (“PageDiff”, “we”, “us”). You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use the service.

PageDiff monitors web pages you choose and alerts you to changes, with AI-generated summaries. The service may evolve over time as we add, change, or remove features.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, maintain one account per person or organization unless we agree otherwise, and take responsibility for activity under your account.

You are responsible for what you choose to monitor. You warrant that you have the right and a lawful basis to monitor the pages you set up, and that doing so complies with applicable law and the target site's terms. You agree not to use PageDiff to:

• monitor or collect illegal content;
• circumvent authentication, paywalls, or other access controls, or access pages you are not authorized to access;
• harass, stalk, or surveil individuals;
• unlawfully harvest personal data;
• place an abusive load on, or otherwise disrupt, the sites you monitor;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy.

Purchases are sold by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy's terms and refund policy govern the transaction, and Lemon Squeezy collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax.

• Trial: the Starter plan includes a 14-day trial that requires a card. It converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Pro and Business bill immediately.
• Renewal & cancellation: subscriptions auto-renew each period. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the period you have paid for; we do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law or under Lemon Squeezy's policy.
• Price changes: we may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

By subscribing you ask us to begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that performance starts at once.

You own your data — your monitors and the content we capture on your behalf. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service for you. We own the PageDiff platform, software, and brand. For monitored content that contains personal data, we act as your processor and a data processing agreement is available on request.

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every change will be detected, the exact timing of checks or alerts, uninterrupted uptime, or the accuracy of AI-generated summaries. Changes to the pages you monitor are conditional and may never occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory EU or Romanian consumer-protection law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service or from the pages and content you choose to monitor, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms. On termination, your data is handled according to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you before they take effect and update the “Last updated” date above.

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
